Itzuri es una jóven purépecha que pasa su tiempo en el lago de Tzintzuntzan y con su amiga Kúkuti, ambas tienen el deseo salir del pueblo para estudiar, pero Itzuri es robada por su pretendiente Atari. Ella comienza a encontrarse con la aparición de una pequeña niña. Una noche antes de su boda, Itzuri decide escapar del pueblo, pero algo terrible sucede.

Itzuri is a young Purépecha girl who spends her time at the lake of Tzintzuntzan and with her friend Kúkuti. They both want to leave the town to study, but Itzuri is stolen by her suitor Atari. She begins to encounter the appearance of a little girl. One night before her wedding, Itzuri decides to escape from the town, but something terrible happens.
